**ENGLISH, LEGAL, MODERN: MARKS 95-97** Hi! I'm a 99+ ATAR 2019 graduate of St George Girls High School. I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and beyond! Consequently, I’ve helped my previous students achieve a State Rank of 14th in English Advanced, countless Band 6s, and - importantly - their own academic improvement and confidence beyond their expectations. I am offering to tutor the following subjects where I achieved the listed marks: English Advanced: 95/100 Legal Studies: 97/100 (examination mark) [STATE RANK equivalent] Modern History: 95/100 TEACHING STYLE: For each of my subjects, I have accumulated immense insight on how to essentially "hack" the HSC exam, hence my teaching style takes a very formulaic yet accessible approach, deconstructing exactly what NESA looks for in rigorous detail. By accessing my comprehensive database of frameworks for essay and short answer structure and exam strategy, I centre my lessons around theoretical and structural understanding before delving into deconstructed practice to truly equip students with the appropriate skills unique to each subject and topic. Only through understanding these formulas and structural frameworks for these subjects have I been able to significantly elevate my own marks having been frustrated with their stagnation in the past, as well as those of my peers who consider me a substantially easy-to-understand peer tutor. Having graduated in 2019, I am extremely familiar with the new English Advanced and Modern History syllabuses. For each of the subjects I am offering, I have an abundant amount of resources crafted by me including essay plans, essays, detailed yet succinct notes, short answer practices, etc. on request as well as past papers, sample papers, and practice questions to prepare you for assessments and all sections of the HSC exam. I also offer on-demand essay marking for each subject as well as detailed, in-depth criticism to truly help you improve and boost your marks. I take my role as a tutor very seriously and I am willing to dedicate unearthly hours to meticulously marking and editing your work to ensure your utmost confidence and satisfaction in your performance. EXPERIENCE: I have over 5 years worth of tutoring experience and I deliver results, with my students seeing immense progress in their marks and a significant improvement in their confidence (and enthusiasm!) towards each of the subjects I have tutored them in. Many of my students have boosted their ranks from average to below average at comprehensive, private, and top selective schools to the top 0.5-10% of their cohort. I am offering online one-on-one tuition at $85 an hour, in-person tuition for $90 an hour, or group tuition for two or more people starting from $30 an hour, depending on the number of students (contact me for more details). I am based in the St George area as well as the CBD, but locations can be negotiated! I also offer essay/assignment marking in the above subjects from $35 for each piece of work.
