Hi my name is Julius Pompei and I graduated from St. Kevin’s College with an ATAR of 99.60! I am currently entering my final year as a medical student studying the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne. I have accrued over 3000 hours of tutoring experience across the last 5 years, helping students from Years 9 through to 12 achieve outstanding results. I achieved perfect study scores in the following subjects: ENGLISH - 50 PHYSICAL EDUCATION - 50 (Premier’s Award) A VCE Premier’s Award in PE placed me in the Top 3 students in the state for the subject. Additionally, I attained the following results: CHEMISTRY - 47 BIOLOGY - 46 (3/4 subject in Year 11) As such, I’m primarily offering my services as a tutor of English, PE, Chemistry and Biology at Year 11/12 level for 2026 :) I have an extremely comprehensive set of resources for each of these subjects, as well as practice papers and an extensive knowledge of the subject matter. I am confident in both simplying tricky material and providing extension to students who are excelling. I hope to inspire my students to work towards their best, whatever level that may be, and look forward to sharing my passion and knowledge with them in working towards their goals! As a tutor, I pride myself on my communication skills in order to achieve comprehensive learning whilst building a productive and enjoyable environment. I am able to provide regular 1-on-1 and group tutoring as well as specialised SAC preparation on a week to week basis. I’m also available for ZOOM tutoring which I have found to be very popular amongst my current and past students, and am contactable 24/7 if my students need any further assistance throughout their week. What can I offer: ENGLISH - Along with specialised knowledge of the texts I studied, I will familiarise myself with my students’ texts and provide guidance and help with both developing material, structuring responses and writing techniques. I’m also able to provide comprehensive guidance and materials for the Language Analysis section of the exam which have been thoroughly tried and tested at St Kevin’s College (Cohort ranked No. 1 in the state) PE - As well as having an extensive knowledge of the VCE PE course, I am also able to provide a fully completed set of notes, an array of 100% SACs and practice questions, along with helpful tips and materials from the St. Kevin’s PE course (Cohort ranked No. 1 in the State). Having achieved a Premier’s Award, I am aware of all the tips and tricks required to place at the top of the state. BIOLOGY - As a final year medical student, I have spent the best part of 7 years undertaking further studies in Biochemisty and Immunology principles, bolstering my understanding far beyond the 3/4 level. This has helped me consolidate the concepts taught in the Year 12 curriculum, and allows me to explain the course at all levels of understanding from beginner to extension. I help students craft their answers directly towards the VCAA syllabus, improving exam results enormously. CHEMISTRY - I have a comprehensive set of notes for the VCE Chemistry course, as well as over 25 practice papers. These are fully completed and have difficult questions collated in order to provide my students with insight and an advantage over the state. I am fully confident with the content of VCE level Chemistry, only strengthening these skills with my university study.
