I am currently working as a software engineer. I graduated with a Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering (Honours) combined with a Bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW with a Distinction WAM. I graduated from Penrith Selective High School with an ATAR of 95.30. As a tutor, I believe that to achieve success in a subject, a genuine and expansive understanding of the content followed with correct practice is required. In my lessons, I aim to guide the student in forming such an understanding while also providing them with the needed resources, including my vast collection of: - school past-papers - textbooks - personal worksheets. I will ALSO be able to provide: - Critical feedback of any take-home or school assignments including Science Depth Study's - Practice and guidance for formulating Band 6 extended responses, especially for Chemistry - 24/7 question support through email or social media - A Close understanding of the new syllabus I have completed my HSC under the new revised syllabus and can provide first-hand insight. For Year 7, 8, 9 & 10, I offer 1-on-1 tutoring for: - SCIENCE - MATHS and for Year 11 & 12 I offer 1-on-1 tutoring for: - ADVANCED MATHEMATICS - MATHS EXTENSION 1 - MATHS EXTENSION 2 - CHEMISTRY. All my lessons are flexible, and I work passionately and determined with every one of my students to improve their abilities and make them reach their goals Here are my 2019 HSC marks for the subjects I offer to tutor: Mathematics Extension 1: 94 (E4) Mathematics Extension 2: 90 (E3) Chemistry: 92 (Band 6) I can tutor at a nearby library, preferably Blacktown or Parramatta, or directly at my house (see my travel policy for more information).
