Hey everyone! My name is Chris, a junior doctor in Sydney. I graduated as dux of WSU medical school in 2025 and dux of St Patrick's College, Strathfield in 2019. I received an ATAR of 99.70, a 6th place state ranking in Studies of Religion II and was a NSW All Rounder. I also received a UCAT of 3230 (99th percentile 2020) and have done mock interviews for over 1000 students trying to get into medical school, both with MedEntry, and now privately. I was the Australian Medical Association (AMA) Medical Student of the Year for 2025. At medical school, I maintained a perfect GPA...nothing short of ever receiving a HD, and I'm on to working as an intern doctor this year. So no, money is not the objective of continuing tutoring, but instead, my genuine passion for teaching and mentoring. I have tutored for 6 years, with a whole range of students from Sydney's best private schools (eg Kings), selective (eg Sydney Boys), Catholic and public schools. I mainly take Year 12, as this is my true passion. My specialties are chemistry and maths. Before studying medicine, I actually studied maths and chemistry at university in an advanced science degree (honours) at UNSW. I am very familiar with the intricacies of these courses. I know the content and syllabus inside and out, and (sadly) still do integrals and back titrations in my free time. You can ask me anything about any HSC or selective school trial paper, and I will know exactly which question you are talking about :) The one thing I can promise you is that as your tutor, I will be so genuinely invested in you and have a real drive for you to improve. I will spam message you after exams to see how you went, as your wins are mine, as are your losses. I care about every one of my students. I also have tutored at university and received the award for the best student educator in Australasia from an external provider, and received the education prize from my university the year after as well! Here were my HSC marks: Chemistry: 96 Mathematics Advanced: 98 (Accelerated) Mathematics Extension 1: 96 Mathematics Extension 2: 92 Studies of Religion II : 97 (6th in NSW) Italian Continuers: 96 English Advanced: 92 I also have helped many students with STUDIES OF RELIGION assignments or studying right before exams as well as ITALIAN tutoring. Weekly tutoring for a few students, but mostly, pre-exam speaking practice. Finally, I am available for UCAT tutoring. I scored 3230 (99th percentile). I also have a job for a company where I write and edit practice UCAT questions. I also work as a mock interviewer and have interviewed >1000 prospective medical students and have over 500 mock questions with feedback prepared. Overall, I truly love teaching and tutoring, and it has become my favourite pastime outside of my medical studies. I cannot wait meet my next students!
