I am currently a fourth year student studying a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at the University of New England under the Joint Medical Program. Worried about online classes? I have been teaching online classes for the past 5 years and I make them as interactive as possible for an immersive experience. Most of my students actually prefer online classes because it saves them the time to travel to classes back and forth! - Duration: 1-2 hrs/week depending on the student - New content is taught every lesson + guided example questions - Homework review at the beginning of every lesson - Quizzes and module exams for exposure to exam-styled questions # TEACHING STYLE + SOME INFO ABOUT ME # Physics and chemistry were my personal favourites and best subjects in high school, but this wasn't always the case. I moved from a comprehensive school to a selective school in year 11 and realised how behind I was in terms of knowledge compared to my peers. The method that worked for me was practice, effort and discipline. With due effort and some guidance, I believe that every student is capable of improving, just like how I didn't know what a force was and ended up ranking top 5 for physics in my cohort. I am here to give my students the push and guidance that they need to achieve the marks they want. I teach with an emphasis on understanding and NOT rote learning, since that is not what science is about. Other than that, practice is key. That's why I provide my students with extensive HSC + trial exam styled questions so they can apply their knowledge in a variety of scenarios.
