My name is Jacky and I am currently a sixth (and final!) year student at UNSW studying the Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine. I graduated from James Ruse Agricultural High School in 2018 with an ATAR of 99.75. With over 6 years of extensive teaching experience (both privately and in major tutoring centres), I am able to provide highly tailored and flexible 1-on-1 tutoring to meet the personalised needs of each student. I can advise students on efficient study skills and effective exam techniques in order to achieve the highest marks. Additionally, I can help with long term planning and goal setting for university entrance (especially with UCAT, applications and interviews for medical schools). My teaching philosophy revolves around building a strong understanding of fundamental concepts, which will allow the student to more easily tackle harder questions. I am truly passionate about teaching and improving the study habits of my students and aim to foster the same passion for learning within them. I received the All-Rounders Award for reaching the highest band (Band6/E4) in all subjects.
