HAVE A WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK Hi! My name is Jasmine and I am a 2019 graduate of the academically selective Girraween High School with an ATAR of 99.10. I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) minoring in Neuroscience. With over three years of private and centre tuition experience, I can safely say I have developed the skills required to adapt my teaching styles to different students and their needs. I have just completed my HSC as the first cohort of the new syllabus and as such, can ensure high quality information is being delivered from first-hand experience. Currently, I am offering one-on-one tuition and group tutoring to students across all years of schooling in areas of Math & Science. I am extremely passionate in the content of all these subjects, ensuring a quality lesson and learning environment. In lessons, my goal is to break down the content into smaller and more manageable pieces so as not to overwhelm the student and make sure focus is placed on understanding the information over memorising (a key feature of the new HSC syllabus). In 2019, I have received the following HSC marks and school ranks in the subjects I offer: English Advanced: 93 (8th) English Extension: 94 (4th) Mathematics: 96 (8th) Mathematics Extension: 94 (13th) Biology: 91 (9th) Chemistry: 94 (8th) PDHPE: 95 (1st) Lessons will last one hour online and hourly rates are $60 per hour as a set rate for all of my students. Group tuition is available at $40 per hour.
