500+ Hours of Experience // 97.5 ATAR // Maths Tutoring Hi there! I am a high-achieving student currently studying a Master's in Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences at Macquarie University. I completed a Bachelor's of Biomedical Engineering at Monash University in 2024. I graduated in 2020 from Firbank Grammar with an ATAR of 97.50, achieving study scores of 48 in Specialist Maths (y12) and 45 in Maths Methods (y11). I studied Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Literature, and Uni Maths in addition to these subjects. I have been a maths tutor (specialising in Methods) for almost 5 years, and have obtained over 500 hours of experience. Upon graduation, I received multiple Academic Awards (detailed below). I am passionate about my subjects, am patient and kind, and care deeply about my students' progress. I have a focused work ethic, high standards, and I always strive for the best. My method of tutoring begins with a simple explanation of mathematical concepts, followed by examples, finally helping the student to solve problems of their own until the concept is understood. My hands-on, involved approach to teaching is suitable for students of all ages who have the desire to improve. All backgrounds are welcome, as long as you are willing to work hard!
