Specialist Mathematics Tutoring — Limited Extension 2 Places available for Term 4. Strong HSC Mathematics results require more than simply knowing the content. Students need a teacher who understands how mathematical ideas develop across the courses, where students typically lose marks, how HSC questions are constructed, and how to turn knowledge into clear, high-quality examination responses. I am currently the Head of Mathematics at a private high school in Sydney’s Inner West and have almost 20 years of experience teaching secondary Mathematics, including Mathematics Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2. My experience includes: • Teaching and leading senior Mathematics courses • Writing school-based Mathematics Advanced, Extension 1 & Extension 2 assessments • Developing proven strategies to improve HSC performance • Identifying common misconceptions and implementing departmental programs to address them • Leading an intensive Extension 2 revision camp, with highly positive student feedback • Using current HSC data, assessment trends and AI-assisted analysis to develop targeted revision strategies My tutoring is designed for students who want more than homework help. Sessions focus on building deep conceptual understanding, improving mathematical communication, diagnosing weaknesses and developing the examination technique required for success. I am reserving two places only for Extension 2 students commencing in Term 4. Possibility to start in term 3 with Preliminary Preparation.
