My name is Greg Frelingos, and I bring over seven years of tutoring experience, having supported numerous students in achieving Band 5 and Band 6 results across a range of HSC subjects. I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with First Class Honours, and I am currently completing a Master of Professional Psychology. My academic achievements include an ATAR of 97.40, as well as receiving both the All-Rounders Award (Band 6 in all subjects) and the High Achievers Award.
Years 7 to 10 are critical developmental years in which students should build strong study habits that will serve them well in senior schooling. Unfortunately, many students enter Years 11 and 12 without foundational skills such as effective note-taking, time management, and exam preparation strategies. My work with senior students has consistently produced outstanding results, including significant improvements in class rankings and final HSC outcomes. What sets me apart from other tutors is my in-depth understanding of how the HSC system works—not just in content, but in strategy.
Many students fall into the trap of simply memorising material without understanding how each assessment task contributes to their final ATAR. Whether an assessment is worth 5% or 50%, it must be approached with strategic planning and purpose.
My approach with senior students is highly goal-oriented and grounded in discipline and accountability. I set high expectations and hold students to them—not out of pressure, but to cultivate resilience, self-discipline, and a strong work ethic that benefits them long after school ends.
Under my guidance, students feel confident, respected, and supported. I take pride in providing a sense of clarity and stability throughout their academic journey.
