Salut! Je m'appelle Olivia Arcangeli. I specialise in French and Maths, having graduated with the International Baccalaureate Diploma from Pembroke School in 2018 (IB with Distinction - 40/45. ATAR: 98.25). I have completed my Bachelor of Psychology (Advanced) with First Class Honours at the University of Adelaide. This means that I am well-equipped to help students not only with Psychology, but with scientific report-writing in any science subject. I have tutored primary and high school students in French and Maths since 2017. They have all improved by at least one grade band. Olivia was my French tutor when I was doing IB French and she really helped me improve my conversational skills. She also helped in me feeling increasingly more confident in picking up new vocabulary and using it. Olivia would be an excellent French Tutor to younger students as she has an exceptional understanding of the grammatical structure of the language and is able to convey her understanding of these systems to others in interesting ways. She writes French well, and has an extensive vocabulary range and a keen understanding of the features of varied text types that are typically used in a school context to communicate ideas. Her spoken French is also very good, and her language skills have been enhanced by her participation in a school exchange program where she lived with a French family for four weeks as well as attending school. These language and cultural experiences have given her an enthusiasm for and love of the language that she willingly shares with others.
