Ines I.

I’m an experienced and patient maths tutor with a strong focus on building a solid understanding of fundamental concepts. I recognise that every student learns differently, and I tailor my teaching style to suit each individual’s needs and abilities. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked with more than 50 students across Years 5 to 12, including those from Wesley College, Melbourne High, Melbourne Girls’ College, Hawthorn Secondary College, and Lauriston Girls’ School. I have tutored both VCE and IB Mathematics. I also have extensive experience supporting students with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. I completed my VCE in 2015 with an ATAR of 97.35, achieving a raw Study Score of 44 in Maths Methods, 47 (scaled) in Specialist Maths, and 42 in English. I hold a degree from the University of Melbourne, where I majored in Finance and Economics. I currently work in the Investments team at one of the Big Four accounting firms. Outside of tutoring, I’m friendly, approachable, and love staying active - I’m a passionate basketball player, Bombers supporter, and keen runner. I’m happy to travel to your home for lessons and look forward to helping you or your child succeed in maths!
