About

I'm a fully qualified, registered secondary school teacher with 6 years classroom experience teaching English from Years 7-12. In 2022 I stepped away from the classroom to start a small business running PD sessions for teachers. I still do a bit of tutoring on the side, as working with students is the part of my teaching job I miss the most. I only tutor online via video call. $90 p/h for VCE $70 p/h for 7-10 Sessions are available in the afternoon on weekdays. Sessions are tailored to the student and their needs, but usually involve: - essay help - help with improving written expression - discussion of texts and knowledge building - help with classwork/homework If interested, please email with details of which day/timeslots would be preferred, student's year level, the school they attend, and the texts they're studying this year.

Education

Fully qualified and registered teacher with 6 years experience teaching VCE at McKinnon Secondary College. Taught Year 12 in 2021. I hold a Master of Teaching and a Grad Cert in TESOL.
