I'm a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a First Class BA Hons in Economics, and will start postgraduate studies at Oxford later this year (MPhil in Economics). I graduated from the IB with a perfect 45/45 (99.95 ATAR) as Dux of the Trinity Grammar School 2018 IB cohort, which contained 9 students who all scored 45. Against this strong competition, I won subject prizes in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, History, Classical Latin, and Theory of Knowledge. My final exams results were 7s in all subjects I took (HL Mathematics, Economics, English Literature | SL Physics, Latin, History) and As in both Theory of Knowledge and my Extended Essay in Classical Latin. I scored on average 10 marks over the required grade 7 boundary, demonstrating the highest levels of achievement. Whilst the IB can appear quite demanding, with the right help and personal commitment huge improvements and a score above 40 (98 ATAR) can be a reality for anybody. I know what an incredibly demanding program the IB is, and hope to be a friendly and reliable face that my students can turn to if overloaded academically or emotionally.

Unlike other tutors, Nick is able to seamlessly switch between all these different areas of expertise depending on whatever I needed help on for the day, and offered outstanding guidance not only for the examination portion of things, but also the structuring and organization of research reports. Nick is extremely patient and committed to his role as a tutor. He prepares before each lesson and will work with you to solve each question. I would highly recommend him as a Mathematics tutor.

Nick T is an amazing tutor. He tutored me in mainly science (physics), maths, and English, and it helped me a lot to understand the course as a whole. When he tutors, he goes into depth, going beyond the syllabus so that I, the student, understand the topic at an extensive level, which evidently helped my grades. If there are any questions that you have with him, he'll go through the question step by step, showing his way of thinking so you can do it the most efficient way possible. Overall, Nick's tutoring has helped with my overall learning skills and my understanding of different subjects to an extensive length.

Nick really helped me understand complex concepts for IB Theory of Knowledge and Physics. He would cover and explain the content from the syllabus very thoroughly and he also gave me really good tips on study methods, especially for the IB as he had done the course. Nick is an excellent and patient tutor who provided me with much needed support with my studies. His knowledge and experience in numerous subjects as well as his in-depth understanding of the formula of various IB internal assessments allowed him to provide me with constructive feedback and helped me to recognise my areas of weakness. His patience in explaining various concepts from the syllabus that I found difficult to understand and his interdisciplinary expertise helped me to gain a deeper understanding of the theoretical subject matter in my courses (e.g. mathematics).
