About me: I am a qualified secondary school VCE teacher in the area of Mathematics. I have held teaching positions in Government and Private Schools in Melbourne as well as overseas in London. I am currently a fully registered teacher with Victorian Institute of Teaching which covers a Working with Children and Police Check. Proof of my registration available on request. Services: I provide mathematics tutoring services for the following: Mathematics Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 Mathematical Methods (CAS) Units 1, 2, 3 & 4 (Year 11 & 12) LANTITE ACER Numeracy Test for Aspiring Teachers Session: Professional worksheets, topic specific tests and real exam questions will be provided at each session. I focus on teaching course work and theory students are currently learning or about to start in class. I will always teach ahead of class. This will reinforce the students learning so they can maximise the use of class time to its full potential. I will teach all the key concepts from a topic in each session. This will allow the student to revise the topic several times before a test depending on its duration in class. I will provide several resources for worded type questions that aim to mimic exam style questions. This will ensure the student is experiencing problem solving on a regular basis. I will focus on specific content for any upcoming SACs, tests, exams to ensure the student is fully prepared as required. My lessons are tailored to individual needs and build confidence by developing numeracy skills. Mathematical understanding of key concepts and positive test results increase following my tutoring sessions. Location face to face learning at your home or online: I conduct tutoring sessions at your home covering the areas of Ormond, Carnegie, Brighton, Caulfield South, Moorabbin, Hampton, Sandringham, Highett, McKinnon and Bentleigh. I also have the resources to conduct online tutoring sessions if you prefer.
