I've always found keeping up with the advanced maths course difficult, especially when I couldn't understand the terminology. After some pretty disappointing results, I decided to get a tutor to help, and after trying a few different tutors, I had a session with Jan and very quickly noticed a difference. Having a tutor that understood how I learn really helped and made the course less confronting. My results greatly improved over time and going into the final exam I was highly confident in my ability. Jan has been an incredible help with helping me improve confidence and my maths skills in both advanced and extension 1 maths since starting to get help from her half way through year 12.
