Hi all,
I'm Li and I am a 5th year student at UNSW studying Materials Science and Biomedical Engineering. I graduated from Beverly Hill Girls High School with an ATAR of 95.25. I accelerated from years 8-11 and completed Extension 1 Mathematics in Year 11 with an E4 and still achieved Band 6 in all subjects despite spending my final year of high school at home. I have channelled my past experience into my teaching and I have been able to assist school students in achieving optimal results by providing them with with the guidance and support they need. I have been tutoring for the past 5 years and have helped my students accomplish all of their goals, improve and develop great study habits and get into their degrees.
I have a passion for Mathematics and I love to teach. I take great pride in being able to help students achieve their goals in school.
I am offering personalised and/or group tuition service for Maths and English. I am available to teach every day after school from Monday- Friday and am free on weekends.
My main goal as a tutor is to consolidate students' knowledge of areas that they are struggling with at school and for them to be able to achieve optimal marks at school. I do revision with the students and teach them in areas they need for school while teaching them to enjoy school. For exams I am able to target students' weaknesses and can give them the revision and exam preparation they need to excel. In terms of study I am able to give the students tips and a schedule they can follow in order to maximise results. I have helped numerous students with getting into university and recently helped all 7 of my year 12 students last year with their HSC. I and am looking to assist year 11 and 12 students that would like some guidance in their final years of schooling.
