About
|| ENGLISH, HUMANITIES, SCIENCE & BIOLOGY || Hi! My name's Bella, a current Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Sydney with 6 years of tutoring experience. I offer online tutoring as well as proofreading/draft feedback services for English, Humanities subjects (history, sociology, legal studies), Biology & more for just $70 per hour for private sessions!
-I hold a currently valid National Police Check + NSW Working With Children Check-
As a tutor, I help students to understand course content, become more confident with their knowledge, complete assignments to a high standard and prepare for HSC exams. I also frequently provide organisational support in managing workloads and staying on top of assessments across multiple different subjects, taking a holistic approach to tutoring where I aim to support my students in all areas of their schooling.
I'm happy to work with small groups of 3 or more for a discounted rate of $60/hour per person as well, so if you have siblings or friends feel free to bring them along!
I have extensive tutoring experience working with students of a wide range of academic ability, from those looking for general improvement to those aiming for that perfect A+. I'm pretty friendly and always aim to create a supportive and judgement-free environment in my sessions whilst pushing you to achieve your maximum potential!
Regarding my academic qualifications, I graduated high school as the School Captain with an OP 2 (ATAR equivalent 98) having achieved the top mark of VHA10 in English, English Extension and Legal Studies. I am currently enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney so happy to provide guidance on pathways if medicine is your goal. I have previously completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University, and have also sat the GAMSAT and scored a 69 overall, with a top percentile score of 83 in section 2 (essay writing).
I'm available any time on weekends as well as on weekdays after 5pm, so send me a message to schedule a time which works best for you. We can hold sessions online via video call (using Microsoft Teams, Apple Facetime, Zoom, etc.), phone call, or we can meet in person at my apartment, a local public library or potentially at your home/another location which suits you (dependent on travel time/distance).

Reviews
My daughter was really struggling with psychology. She had also had some medical issues where she missed quite a lot of school. We found Bella to be incredibly patience, flexible and very responsive. She really caters for peoples individual needs, and is supportive around current assignments and exams. My daughter went from failing to passing with very decent grades in a short space of time with assistance from Bella. Highly recommended.

Bella is a kind, patient and understanding person who guided me throughout the whole of grade 12. I wouldn’t have gotten the results I received without her, she took the time to understand all my classes and took the time to help me understand them. Bella was a reliable and organised tutor, who was always on time, collected and had plans for each session. As someone who has struggled with getting work done, Bella was equipped with strategies to help me get everything I needed done so I could be in a clear headspace with good results. As far as tutoring goes, Bella is reliable, friendly, organised and has the knowledge to help teach and guide any student.

Bella helped me throughout year 10 to 12 for Legal Studies and English, and I couldn’t recommend her enough. I was very close to failing both subjects and she helped me get a B+ in both subjects by the end of year 12. She is so flexible with her times and will cater to whatever you want to focus on in your studies. She is so kind and supportive, and I can safely say that I wouldn’t have graduated without her help. 10/10 would recommend!!
