I am an experienced high school English teacher with over 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience. Having taught English Standard and English Advanced in both public and private schools, as well as through one-on-one private tutoring, I understand how to support students with a wide range of needs, abilities, and goals. I am passionate about helping students strengthen their reading, writing, and analytical skills, while also building their confidence and independence. My tutoring is tailored to each individual student, with a focus on clear explanations, practical strategies, and meaningful improvement. My students have consistently improved their school ranks with many being able to work their way towards the top of their class and achieve their desired HSC results. I believe that tutoring can beneficial for every child, from those that may be struggling with their studies to those that excel. I have a passion for helping students achieve their full potential in their studies. I will teach you different problem solving techniques and the most efficient ways to solve different questions. This will allow you to comfortably tackle any future questions you encounter. -Improving exam technique. This includes teaching you how to reduce silly mistakes and properly set out responses to maximise marks. -Identifying your weaknesses and helping you improve in those areas through consistent verbal and written feedback -Assisting with any assessment tasks given. -I can also help you develop an effective study routine that fits to your timetable and abilities as well as teach you proper note-taking and summarising for ease of memorising. -Providing you with any resources you may require, whether it be past exam papers, booklets, documents breaking down complicated or difficult to understand concepts.
