I'm Shefin :) I graduated VCE in 2017 with an ATAR of 98.15 and have 8+ years of tutoring experience. I am currently studying at Monash University. Teaching has always been a huge passion of mine and I'm here to share my knowledge and help students anytime! I love to teach all different types of students regardless of their attitude towards school or their grades so far. I dedicate myself to ensuring every single student I teach, leaves with a greater passion for learning and for maths, making it so much easier for them to do well at school and later on in life. I try my best to accommodate my students' weekly schedules. Please note, that I am also more than happy for students to send me work in-between sessions if they need further assistance or have assessments coming up :) I am very flexible so if you have any questions feel free to contact me! *Rates and Details:* Group lessons - $40/hr - Very interactive lessons conducive to learning. Learning is much better with peers! - Free 30-minute introductory session, one-on-one to get to know what the student needs, before joining the group - Follows the curriculum and are very structured lessons to make sure there are no gaps in knowledge and everything gets covered! - Starts early to stay ahead of school! - Tests (non-scary!) to check for understanding and determine areas that need work - Question time at the end of the teaching session for more personalised help - Receive help with homework/ SACS/ other assessments. - Group revision sessions - Endless amount of resources, practice questions/papers etc. One on One lesson - $90/hr - Lesson structure determined by students' individual needs - Follows the school's timeline of topics - Help with homework/ upcoming assessments as they come up - Room for quite a bit of flexibility - Endless amount of resources, practice questions/papers etc.
