I'm Stephanie Hume and I have over 15 years' of experience in education and communications. Subjects I support students in include English and History from Foundation to tertiary, including VCE, as well as maths in the primary years. I work full-time in a Melbourne secondary school. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Communications from RMIT, and a Master of Teaching from UTAS. Custom Learning Approach: I believe that every student is unique and has different learning needs. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's learning style, pace, and interests. I have worked in a secondary setting for over 8 years supporting students with special needs and in the mainstream, while running my tutoring business for a range of students. I believe in inclusive education and am a disability advocate. 1:1 & Group Support: I run sessions in Melbourne in Hawthorn and Malvern, as well as online everywhere else. My sessions are guided by the school curriculum, and can also focus on skills that the student wants to work on.
