I am a Sydney Girls' High School Graduate with an undergraduate degree, two masters degree and a professional qualification.
I have been tutoring for over 30 years. Maths is my passion and the joy in seeing my students excel is so rewarding.
I worked as an Actuary for the top 5 insurance companies. After 20 years in the industry, I decided to pursue my passion and undertook my Master of Teaching in Mathematics to become a high school mathematics teacher.
I am now a qualified high school teacher and work full time in a high school in the East.
I am dedicated to my student's progress and all my students have a high success rate. I ascertain each student’s learning needs and tailor the tutoring to the areas needing focus. I have often found that students need to revisit the core mathematical concepts and once they grasp this, they really start to improve.
I am available for tutoring sessions at my place in Padstow or alternatively do online tutoring using zoom. This looks to be the way of tutoring in the future, so if it is more convenient for you I highly recommend that you try online tutoring.

Michelle is gifted at mathematics and talented at teaching. Michelle has the unique ability to explain mathematical concepts at any level to achieve an understanding of often complex concepts for any child. Consequently assisting the often perplexed student and reassuring the parent. Both of my children have benefited from the teaching ability and guidance of Michelle. Elevating both from a challenged position in school to that of achieving excellent results at an advanced level.
