About

I have provided maths tuition for many years because I have a passion for the subject. I teach year 7 up to year 10 and also provide an introduction to VCE Maths Methods. Full details are available on my website (Google "Dr Ravi Maths"). I have a vast experience in dealing with people from all ages and all walks of life in my 20 years since being in the workforce. As a person who has experienced both being a student for many years (completing 3 degrees) and also professional life I bring all my skills together to be an experienced, patient, dedicated and passionate maths teacher. 1-to-1 face-to-face lessons only. This is the Gold Standard method of teaching. Unless I can visualise your methods in process then I can’t give you the best help to suit your needs. I will sit with you to analyse your techniques and reasoning skills and show you various methods to tackle problems. Happy to teach the general mathematics as required by the school curriculum and also to teach problem solving techniques (which is not taught in the school curriculum). I am a surgical doctor of 20+ years experience who teaches maths because of my passion for the subject. Formal qualifications (all gained in Australia) are: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Information Systems.
