I am currently studying a Masters of Clinical Optometry at UNSW. I have gained 6 years of experience as a high school tutor - working at a number of tutoring centres and having tutored over 100 students. My tutoring service extends beyond the scope of consolidating concepts and addressing practice questions but also addressing exam technique. My lessons are structured around providing students with the highest quality education and giving tips on how to best learn and memorise content to maximise marks in exams, while also equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge throughout their high school career. I received the following marks for my HSC: Mathematics 99 Mathematics Extension 1 96 Business Studies 95 English Advanced 94 Heritage Chinese 94 Chemistry 90 Economics 90 I provide tutoring at my house located in Canley Heights or online via Zoom and am unavailable for home visits. Prices are set at $80 an hour for private tutoring and $70 an hour for 2 or more people.

Great tutor! I started my year really struggling with english and Monica helped me regain confidence in my writing and helped to improve my grade. She refined my understanding of my assigned texts, helped me to develop my exam technique and taught me how to effectively target exam questions. She gave really useful feedback, too. Monica has been tutoring me from Yr11 to Yr12 and has helped me to improve my marks significantly. Apart from teaching well, she is a very lovely person to be around. I highly recommend Monica !! She is very patient and super friendly. She is extremely clear when explaining the content and with her help, I was able to improve in ranks as I had been 20th/87 and came out 2nd/87 in English Trials. She is by far the best tutor I have ever had/met and I've had many tutors. Through her teaching and her guidance, I was inspired and motivated to study hard and achieve top marks.

Extremely recommend - started the year lacking understanding and confidence in Mathematics until I began lessons with Monica who was very diligent and understanding with explaining challenging concepts. She always ensured I understood the content and always provided help outside of lessons.
