I have tutored students from St Bernard's, PEGS, Ave Maria, Marcellin, Simonds, Aitken and Strathmore Colleges over the past few years, becoming familiar with each of their curriculum offerings. VCE English and junior Reading improvement have become my specialties in over 37 years of teaching/tutoring. I have also worked with VCE English classes as a Coach, guiding other teachers to improve their students' level of achievement - whether they required support to pass the subject or excel to reach 40+ scores. There is never a better time for a student to work with a Tutor than right now - the earlier the better! Tutor in English, English Literature, Essay Writing, Reading, Creative Writing, History, Politics I provide Online sessions or travel to these locations: Essendon and surrounds, within fifteen minutes, homes and Public Libraries. My availability varies with my other commitments, but is mostly weekday late afternoons & weekends. Each series of lessons begins with an appropriate assessment that I conduct with the student/s and use the results to structure my approach. The key is that I tailor each lesson to the needs and learning stage of each individual. Materials will be provided to students if appropriate, or there may be a need to focus on those provided by their classroom teacher.
