Tayla B.

✨QUALIFIED TEACHER✨ Hello! My name is Tayla, and I am an experienced English tutor who delights in seeing my students reach their potential. I have a Master of Teaching from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, where I majored in English. I am passionate about education, and am dedicated to helping my students achieve academic success. I specialise in English tutoring, teaching students how to analyse their prescribed texts and how to write well-structured essays. Both of these skills are essential for performing well in English, and essay writing is a broad skill which transfers to many other subjects. Learning how to write a good essay can improve more than just your English marks! I also offer an essay-feedback-only option for those who aren't interested in a tutoring session but would like substantial feedback on an essay they're working on. I charge $50 for this service. My turnaround time is within 24 hours, but I can expedite the process if you require it. I have experience in working in schools throughout Sydney, and a current Working With Children Check.
