Originally from France, I moved to Australia with my husband ten years ago. Throughout the years, I have been imparting my native command of the language to my students.
I specialise in tutoring VCE French and hence, am very familiar with the curriculum. I offer private lessons at my home, as well as facilitating conversational classes at a private school located in Hawthorn.

To prepare my VCE students for their assessments, I cover the four core components: speaking, writing, listening and reading.
Throughout the year, I engage in conversation using tailored questions often asked in the oral exam for both the general conversation and the detailed study.
My students are encouraged to practise writing essays in a variety of genres to familiarise themselves with the different stylistic elements. From these essays, I identify any grammatical learning gaps and provide the appropriate exercises.
To further enhance their language expression and bring an authenticity found in a native French speaker, I focus on common idioms and colloquialisms. More importantly, I put emphasis on various grammatical nuances often overlooked in the classroom as a consequence of an intensive schedule.
I provide listening and reading tasks with corresponding vocabulary lists in order to extend my students’ lexicon. I can also personalise these exercises toward their SAC topics and reoccurring themes in the final exam.
It is my pleasure to help students develop an appreciation of French. I aim to improve their language skills and to see them excel in their personal goals. Moreover, it is imperative to bolster confidence in those who feel lost in the intricacies of French or who have limited access to resources and the necessary assistance. I am convinced that performance should not be the sole aspiration, but also, an assurance in one’s potential.
I also hold lessons for those younger than Year 11 and Year 12 students and in addition, adult French classes at beginner and advanced levels through several language schools.
I am located in Doncaster, at walking distance from Westfield Shopping Town. If coming from the city via the Eastern freeway, take the Doncaster exit or if through Ringwood, exit from Tram Rd.
