Hey! Do you need help getting those top marks? I can help you or your child get from that seemingly unbeatable 80-85% threshold to 95-100%. Or is your child is struggling to scrape over the line? I can teach him or her some valuable skills to be able to get the results that they deserve.

About me: I'm a second year Bachelor of Philosophy student at the University of Western Australia, majoring in Physics, Pure Mathematics and advanced Japanese language studies.

Tutoring available in year 11 + 12 for:
Mathematics Specialist ATAR
Mathematics Methods ATAR
Mathematics Applications ATAR
Mathematics General
Chemistry ATAR
Physics ATAR
Japanese: Second Language ATAR
Japanese: Second Language General

Help also offered in:
Any of the above subject's respective bridging courses at uni
Olympiad Maths (or training for any equivalent mathematics competition)
Japanese from scratch
Year 8-10 any subject, especially maths and science

I graduated in 2017 from Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, the top ranking regional school in WA and the 8th ranked regional school in Australia. I received distinction from WACE for my achievements and received an ATAR of 99.70.

I have 4 years of tutoring experience around my home town of Dunsborough, including some volunteering tutoring of younger children. I also have taken courses on tutoring at UWA so that I can deliver the greatest experience possible to you or your child.

Other qualifications I have is a perfect 1600 in the SAT, 35 STEM score and 31 overall in the ACT and band 10 in all subjects in Naplan. I competed in the maths Olympiad from years 8-10 and received high distinctions in multiple maths and science competitions. I also came second in the state finals for the tournament of minds, and third for the Da Vinci Decatholon. I went to the national finals for philosophy in year 12 under the philosophon.

You might be asking what sets me apart from everyone else on this website? To that I would say that I can offer over-the-phone or email help to any of my students at any point in the week, not just when I'm getting paid. I also choose to only take on 5-10 students at a time meaning I have flexible hours to increase time in the precious exam times. Furthermore, if you ask me an extension question I can't answer on the spot, I will endeavour to find the best possible answer for you outside of tutoring hours.

I normally charge $50/hour for individuals or $30/hour per person for groups (2+ students). Prices differ depending on circumstances to make sure to give me a call and we can work out the most suitable price for you.

To book a session email me at jaxtonkidd@icloud.com or call / text me on 0467288278 any time. Happy studying!

Jaxton is a great tutor who explains things succinctly and makes it easy to understand. I did have 5 coffees beforehand, so I may have read the situation wrongly, but anxiety did seem to roll of him throughout. This is not a worry though, due to his unique juxtaposition of comedic and ironic (hopefully) whipping throughout, which eludes to the knowledge of current memes and jokes common to the students he is teaching. His hair did put me off at first, gonna be honest, but I left reassured.
