Hello,
Current Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Philosophy (Finance) Student at UWA, 2024 graduate with 98.10 ATAR.
In 2024 I completed Year 12 as a student at Hale School. I achieved an academic report that situated me amongst the high achievers of my year. My final scaled academic record (from TISC) gave me an ATAR of 98.10 with a TEA of 326 (out of 430). My raw marks (before scaling and other adjustments) were 87% in Engineering Studies, 74% in Physics and Chemistry, 88% in Mathematics Methods and 76% in Mathematics Specialist.
I have many hours of teaching experience with more than 50 students ranging from Years 6 to 12. In addition, I have also worked with Neuromuscular WA and the Mt Hawthorne School for special needs. These experiences have granted me the ability to understand how I can have the most comprehensive impact on the learning ability and confidence of my students. I found an approach of prioritising long term understanding over short term competence to be the most beneficial, and aim to implement this strategy into my teaching the best I can. Whilst I think this is an ideal strategy, I am always willing to catering my teaching methods to fit my student's needs to align with what works best for them - as no two students are the same!
Areas I can assist in include but are not limited to, providing important support and help when studying and preparing for tests/exams, understanding content from usual classes and boosting understanding and confidence in relevant topics during times like school holidays - to help my students gain an early advantage over their peers and start the year on the front foot.
Along with my services I also provide a range of resources from Accounting and Finance Theory notes to worked Physics practice questions and have a plethora of other documents to use during the sessions.
I'm available on both weekdays and weekends and am flexible with times as well.
I also have a valid Working With Children and National Police Check.
Year 12 completed in 2024.
Mark achieved: N/A(not verified).
Currently studying BEng (Hons) and BPhil (Hons), Mechanical Engineering and Finance at The University of Western Australia.
