Hi! My name is Evelyn and I am currently studying the bachelor of commerce at the University of Melbourne. Last year, I completed the International Baccalaureate diploma with a certificate of distinction. As a recent high school graduate, I am passionate to share my knowledge and experience with younger peers and students in a supportive, friendly and engaging environment! Throughout high school, I actively participated in volunteer tutoring, and have now gained more than 2 years of experience in tutoring Mathematics and Economics.
As a tutor, I believe my strength lies in my ability to help students feel heard and emotionally supported, not only by clearing confusions, but also through active communication, guiding students through times of stress. I believe that fostering a growth mindset is essential to achieving long run academic growth.
