After my first Extension 2 Maths assessment, I was convinced I’d have to drop the subject. My marks weren’t improving, and even my teacher doubted me. That doubt drove me to work harder. I wanted to prove to myself and my teacher that I was capable. I studied relentlessly, practiced countless questions, and developed the creative mindset needed for Extension 2 Maths. Slowly but surely, I began to see progress. By the time trials came around, complex numbers once my weakest topic, had become one of my biggest strengths. All the effort paid off, and I ended up ranking 3rd in a Maths Extension 1 assessment and 6th overall for the year. Now, I’m passionate about helping others discover their potential in maths and physics.
