Hi, I’m Gen and I am second year student at ANU studying a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics (BPPE). I completed the HSC in 2022 and achieved 7th in the state for English Extension 1 and 95 for English Advanced. As your english tutor, I can help you not only understand your texts but improve how you structure and conceptualise your essays. My goal is to teach you how to communicate your ideas clearly and consistently so that even in exam conditions with a wide array of questions, you nail your responses. I understand what is required in an HSC English exam and can help you unlock what is in each Module’s rubric so that your responses are elevated to the next level. I know how that the HSC can be overwhelming, and that mastering English can sometimes feel like a great unknown, but I can help you learn the right tricks and skills so that great results are within your reach. From Yr 9 through to Yr 12 I tutored younger students at my school, helping them understand their assignments and improve their writing. This taught me what you need to learn at your best. I will be able to help you feel confident throughout your Yr 12 year, fostering your great ideas and making sure that you enter the exam with clear, polished writing.
