Rakin and his team are some of the best tutors out there and their attitude towards studies is truly commendable. Rakin tutored me for math 4U and math 3U and my friend for Advanced math and without him I wouldn't have been able to achieve a state rank in 3U and 4U math. He was super helpful as he was able to provide me strong techniques and ideas that were unique and structured, allowing me to access 100% marks upon implementing them. Not only that but he was quite generous in sharing resources such as exemplar essays and summary sheets of the prescribed texts for English so I could easily identify what the most pertinent ideas for analysis were, and I scored 98 for english advanced as well! Overall, I would recommend Rakin to any HSC student who wishes to achieve top marks in not just English but other subjects as well :)

Rakin and his team have tutored me in math for 6 years since I was in year 7. I used to struggle to understand the assigned texts and how to extract relevant information to answer the questions, but Rakin taught me a process to overcome my weaknesses in the subject. Moreover, Rakin was open to marking and providing feedback on sample essays in Legal Studies, English Advanced and Economics that I wrote, allowing me to reflect and improve my essay writing skills. Additionally, Rakinโ€™s skills are not limited to essay writing subjects as I often approached him for help in other subjects such as Maths and Chemistry, where he was able to clearly and concisely explain how to approach and answer the trickier questions. Personally, Rakin has helped me massively throughout highschool and enabled me to achieve great marks. They areable to assess and identify the issues within your work and provide guidance as to how you would rectify it. This extremely commendable skill is what helped with the legal studies, mathematics 3U, chemistry and economics subjects during my HSC. Great is an understatement when it comes to Rakinโ€™s ability to break down complex concepts in a digestable matter, both in and out of school and studying. Really being able to critically analyse information is something I believe has immensely helped Rakin on his HSC journey and across his incredible results. Putting aside his technical skills in mathematics up to the highest level of HSC, Extension 2 Mathematics, it has been a pleasure to observe the growth of Rakin in his academic prowess and interpersonal skills throughout High School. Furthermore, considering Rakinโ€™s role within the Student Leadership Team, it is clear that his friendly and relaxed demeanor alongside his honed public-speaking abilities will translate into his role as a tutor, cultivating a positive learning environment for students. Rakin is absolutely fit to tutor high school students โ€” he basically did it for our cohort already during HSC. Heโ€™s consistently giving us constructive feedback but still makes sure we donโ€™t feel dumb and to me this makes him really approachable as a tutor. Apart from being a genuinely wholesome and uplifting person, Rakin doesn't just bring academics and good guidance to the table, he's a good outlet to ship your high school worries and develop you as a person. I can remember even while we were friends during high school, he'd always reach out to mark my homework tasks and give me feedback, not only guiding me towards better marks but building his own repertoire of study resources. Rakin is an amazing friend and mentor that I've had across my high school experience, being loyal, kind and a genuinely caring person. But alongside that he has taught me so much on how to grow as a person as well as in an academic environment, guiding me in subjects I was struggling with especially in year 11 and 12.
