I'm Roger and I graduated from the King's School in 2024 as an All-Rounder, achieving state rank equivalent marks in Mathematics Advanced and Economics. My scores in these subjects and French Continuers were amongst the highest in King's history. My teaching style is heavily tailored to the nature of my student and seeks to work in cohesion with existing skills and knowledge. This is focused on from the outset with a free 30 minute consultation before lessons commence to get a feel of where my students are at and to find which areas have room for growth. It also reflects my personal academic methodology where I target a deep understanding of the subject rather than rope learning specific questions, which provides a more comprehensive, flexible and ultimately successful skillset walking into the exam room. I target this with receptive cycles of learning the base content, testing understanding and exposure to different question types for all aspects of the syllabus. I offer both online and in person tutoring at my home in Oatlands for Mathematics Advanced, Extension 1, English Advanced, Chemistry, Economics and French Continuers at both a Preliminary and HSC Level. I also offer tutoring to years 7-10 in a range of other subjects that can be further discussed.
