"Education is about learning, and teaching, and. But most important, it is about inspiring curiosity."
Hi! I'm Jessica.
I'm a first year Medical Science student studying at Macquarie Uni. I'm from the beautiful Coffs Harbour, having moved here to do uni.
I love teaching, practically everyone I know tells me that I should be a teacher (the answer is: ....not right now) and I'm super flexible to your individual learning style. I really encourage all brain types to work with me and together we can figure out the best way to work with your brain.
I had a blast in my own year 12; while I was academically driven, I also valued my other endeavours. I was able to balance my casual job, my social-life, extra-curricular drama class, Student Representative Council, learning to drive, and oldest sister duties.
I can therefore 100% say that ATAR is not everything. It may be a helpful tool, should you wish to go to university immediately, but is only has the value that you need it too.
With my respectable ATAR of 77.90, I got into 5 different courses (+1 that I got into with a portfolio) of which I had to make some very hard choices of which I should pick. There was not a single course that I wanted to get, but didn't.
I am offering free 30 min casual chats where we can see if we are good fits for each other, discuss what I can help with, and talk logistics.
I can't wait to get started with you!
Jessica.
ATAR isn't everything.
Learning begins with curiosity.
