Hey I'm Vaishali a 2019 graduate from Hornsby Girls High school with Band 6s in English and Maths as well as 4+ years of professional tutoring experience. I'm currently pursuing my passion for fashion styling and am obtaining my Advanced Diploma of Fashion Business at FBI fashion college but have a had lifelong passion for empowering students in their approach to learning, education as well as academic and personal growth. As a tutor my approach is always personalised to the student, focusing on their learning styles, interests, strengths, weaknesses, goals and ambitions as no two students learn exactly the same. Having went to a competitive Selective School and had moments of falling behind at school, my focus as a tutor is to transform students into their own version of a lifelong learner so we no longer view specific exams or subjects as undoable or intimidating. Due to my academic background I've spent years on the other end of the classroom, spending hours and hours at a range of coaching and tutoring centres. Since then it became obvious to me that as a tutor we can leave a lasting impact by not just having strong subject knowledge but being a mentor with empathy, sharing a passion for lifelong learning with my students.
