Hi! My name is Jennifer Liu and I'm a graduate of Baulkham Hills High School in 2021 (ranked 3rd in the state). I achieved an ATAR of 99.2 and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies/Computer Science at UNSW.

Knowledge 🧬:
Back in my junior years of BHHS, I was constantly receiving B's in English and 60% in my Maths exams. However, through testing out multiple study strategies and finding tips & tricks for those extra marks in exams, I turned my marks around in my seniors years where I began to receive straight A's in English and averaging 95% in Maths.
This self development journey that I went through has allowed me to thoroughly understand the ins and outs of each subject I teach including: common mistakes by students, tricks to handle particularly difficult questions, what exactly the MARKER wants from the students.
With this knowledge that I have gathered over my years studying at BHHS as well as my IMMENSE 3 years of high school and primary tutoring, I am able to adapt my teaching style to my student to accommodate for all skill levels. This flexibility allows me to prepare individualised lesson plans for each student to target their specific weaknesses and work on strengthening them throughout the course of my lessons to enure their success.
Furthermore, I am also currently studying for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test at the N1 level, alongside my Actuarial Studies degree, allowing me to continually utilise my maths and Japanese skills and techniques that I can reflect in my teaching.
