Completed my Honours in English Literature and Theatre Studies at the University of Melbourne. I am originally from Oxford, England and I did my undergrad at the University of Leeds where I received a First Class Honours in English Literature with Creative Writing. At A Level (grade 11/12) I studied English Literature, Psychology and Film Studies, and achieved A* A A*. My best subjects at school were the humanities, I excel in writing both analytically and creatively so essay writing is a huge strength of mine. I can help younger students improve their own style of writing as well as develop their ideas when it comes to analyzing texts .There is an art in combining creativity of thought with the ability to write fluidly and intelligently – this brings writing alive and helps achieve higher marks. I have a relaxed but focused teaching style, and can read quickly if you need me to know any specific books or texts. I'm confident teaching any of the following: English Language & Literature, History, Geography, Philosophy, Film Rates: 50 p/h online sessions or if student isn't too far away I offer 60 p/h in person tutoring.
