About

*Currently taking students!* Hi, I’m Jess. I am a third year Law (Honours) and International Security Studies (history minor) student at the Australian National University. In 2021 I graduated from Kambala Girls School in Sydney where I completed the HSC with an ATAR of 98.90. During my HSC I received band 6’s in english advanced, legal studies and modern history, with E4’s in history extension and english extension. I also received full marks in my history extension major work essay. I have have been tutoring a range of students for the past two years as well as being an academic mentor at university. I aim to tailor all sessions towards the individual students needs to ensure the sessions remain engaging and informative. I utilise a blend of content revision, discussion, regular quiz based activities, practice short answer and source based questions, essay plans and practices as well as individual feedback. I am available to assist in specific assignment activities and tasks set by the student's teacher, as well as general exam and HSC preparation. For history extension, I am available to assist in both the major work essay as well as exam preparation and content. Through each session I hope to boost the confidence of the individual student to ensure that they meet the goals they set for themselves. I am currently taking students for this year and next year. Feel free to message me with any questions you might have. Thank you!
