Passionate VCE Tutor | 99.55 ATAR | Over 200 hours of tutoring experience Hi! I’m Eyyern and I graduated from Haileybury College in 2021 with an ATAR of 99.55. I am currently a third year Engineering student with a High Distinction WAM at Monash University. A Bit About Me: I achieved a raw 48 in English, a raw 45 in Chemistry and a raw 44 in Physics. I was consistently awarded certifications of High Distinction representing general academic excellence throughout my studies at the College. I have a strong passion in science and technology subjects, with honours awarded in Information and Communications Technology and IT Web Design. In 2024, I'll be offering individual tutoring for VCE Chemistry and Maths. I would love to share my knowledge, study techniques and learning materials for these subjects. Through my own tried and tested learning strategies, I have fostered an effective understanding and application of the course content. This enables me to distil key concepts into easy to understand terms, share practical exam approaches and provide feedback on written work. To support my students with their learning, I am also happy to be contacted with questions or concerns throughout the week. Having juggled many disruptive moments during years 11 and 12 not least due to the COVID 19 pandemic, I am able to pinpoint the most important material and efficient ways to prepare for your SACs and tests. I am also open to tutoring younger year levels in Mathematics. I aim to teach students to build a strong understanding on foundational concepts, in conjunction with an effective application, in order to promote students' interest and enjoyment of the subjects and promote a more engaged learning experience for them. WHAT I OFFER: In a nutshell, I offer the following to students: - Weekly tailored lessons to achieve your goals. - Well-researched study notes and reference materials to help you study smarter. - High scoring SACs and essays for viewing to help you imagine and structure your thoughts and ideas. - 24/7 assistance, to the best of my ability, to help you with any questions you may have, or support you may need. - Analysis of exam-style questions to help you prepare and practise for exams. - Walk through of mock exam papers to help you get used to the format of questions and exam techniques. As I have an adaptable tutoring style, I am determined to provide guidance in ways that work best for you, while pushing you to your limits. Please note that in 2024, I will only be tutoring online as I recognise that the virtual learning environment will cater for efficient online learning and knowledge sharing.
