About
98.7 ATAR | 96/100 Economics HSC Mark - 1st in Sydney Grammar | 95/100 Geography HSC Mark |
Hi! I'm Will, a 2021 graduate from Sydney Grammar School now pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce & Information Systems at UNSW. My previous work experience spans across the financial services industry in insurance (Helia Group) and banking (JPMorgan). My HSC results are as follows:
Economics - 96/100 (97/100 Assessment Mark) -1st ranked in Sydney Grammar
Geography - 95/100
Modern History - 93/100
Mathematics Advanced - 92/100
English Advanced - 91/100
Biology - 91/100
In order to achieve the best results, I only offer one-on-one tutoring for Economics (Year 11/12 syllabus), Biology (Year 11/12 Syllabus) and Geography. Having undergone tutoring for 6 years, I understand how to develop an effective bond with students in order to maximise their marks. Additionally, I have formal tutoring experience in one of Sydney's premier economic tutoring centres. As each student has a different learning style and pace, every lesson will be tailored towards their individual needs.
A typical lesson involves reviewing coursework that a student has covered in class, teaching new coursework/practice questions and answering specific questions - with the structure of the lesson determined by what the student requires. On top of this, I offer in-depth essay marking for all students to ensure that they have effective feedback to work on for upcoming assessments. This has led to great success with my students, often taking them from the middle of their cohort into the top quintile.
