Hi! My name is Chantal and I graduated from All Hallows' in 2020 with a 99.75 ATAR. I achieved a perfect score (100) in both Literature and English. In addition, I was the National Rostrum Voice of Youth Public Speaking champion in 2017 (Juniors) and 2019 (Seniors), competing against a field of over 1500 students. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics at UQ on an Excellence Scholarship.. From students requiring a seismic shift in their grades to those trying to gain those elusive few percent by cracking the difference between 'effective' and 'discerning' analysis, I am an excellent tutor. I can bring forth the best from my students, help them to nail the assessment objectives, and teach them to present a coherent and succinct response. I am patient, articulate when explaining complex ideas, and have the resources to complement students' study. My experience in Public Speaking further complements the Senior English and Literature syllabuses; both have oral components. As an ATAR graduate, I understand the new system, the best exercises to prepare for assessment, and the marking guide. I am passionate about mentoring motivated students to reach their full potential in English and Literature, and love coaching Public Speaking.
