Hey I'm Susie,
I specialise in English tutoring for high school, receiving top band for all essays and consistent full marks in creatives and reflections. In addition, I provide services in the UCAT and Medicine Application Preparation.
I graduated from James Ruse AHS with an ATAR of 99.55. I study Medicine at Western Sydney University.

WHY CHOOSE ME?
Receiving high marks in English doesn't require a natural affinity for prose as one may think. All you need is strategy and a honed technique for approaching any type of question. I will provide the right tools to tackle any assignment or exam with confidence. My lessons will also include my own work and scaffolds to show you how to develop a strong sense of style and individuality in your pieces to stand out!
Other than English, the UCAT is also a test of strategy and speed rather than skill. I'll teach you how to approach different question types (VR, DM, QR and AR) as well as give you solid reasoning skills to tackle any SJ question.
Medical entry is highly competitive and stressful. I've been there and I can teach you how to stand out from your peers in both written and interview aspects. Major universities I have received acceptances from include UNSW medicine, WSU medicine and UQ medicine.
IN ADDITION:
I'm more than just a tutor - I'm here to help develop skills beyond the page. I will always be a phone call/ text/ email away from any concerns or advice needed. Our lessons will be catered to you and can include things like life coaching and help with scheduling when needed.

Susie has enabled me to perform beyond my expectations throughout year 12. With her guidance, I achieved band 5/6 responses which contributed greatly for my internal marks and eventually HSC marks. Susie is fully equipped with resources which gave me a greater insight with the pieces of literature I was studying in year 12. Susie also marked responses and went through foreign material with me which demonstrates her dedication as a tutor. Lastly, Susie always listened to my ideas and prompted me ways on how I could improve them which made me more confident in class and exams. She made me feel welcome and secure throughout our sessions, which was comforting especially during a difficult and overwhelming time as a senior student.
