Hi, my name is Alexis Moubarak :) I am an experienced high school tutor who is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws and Social Science. I graduated in year 12 at Gilroy Catholic College, with a final ATAR of 97.80. I received a high band 6's in Legal Studies, Business Studies, Studies of Religion II, and Society and Culture, as well as a high band 5 in English Advanced. In the completion of my year 12 course, I obtained the following ranks: - Studies of Religion II: 1st - Legal Studies: 2nd - Society and Culture: 1st (39/40 on my PIP) - Business studies: 2nd I tutor students from years 7-10 in: - English - Religion - Commerce I tutor senior students (years 11-12) in: - English Standard and Advanced - Legal Studies - Society and Culture - Studies of Religion I & II - Business Studies. As an experienced student and tutor, I understand the dynamic nature of learning and how each child has their own goals. Accordingly, I aim to adjust my lessons to match the student's individual needs so that we together can achieve their academic and personal objectives. This includes increasing their rank, revisiting foundational concepts, improving their skills, or simply getting ahead of their peers. I will ensure that each session is suited to assist the student effectively and efficiently. I am also available during and after the lesson. Throughout my tutoring lessons, I will provide an extensive explanation of the syllabus points and content being revised. I will provide extensive and current resources including past papers, exam questions, notes, and reading materials.
