Hi, My name is Nisitha and I graduated from Mansfield State High School in 2020 and achieved an ATAR of 99.4. I also achieved a score in the 95th percentile (3050) for the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT). I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science with provisional entry into the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland. My senior subjects in grade 11 and 12 were: Mathematical Methods Specialist Mathematics Physics Chemistry Biology From over 2 years of tutoring experience, I am well aware that a single learning style does not suit everyone. My aim through these lessons is to provide students with a personalized learning experience tailored to their specific needs. This may include an emphasis on in-class homework, help with assignments, understanding of content and any other concerns you may have regarding the subject syllabus and assessment. This, in my opinion is the best way to identify and address students’ individual strengths and weaknesses. As a graduate of the new QCE system, I have first-hand experience and am able to provide insight into the new ATAR syllabus and assessments. For aspiring medical students, it is important to understand that ATAR is simply one part of your application, and UCAT and interview can play an equally if not more important role in the selection process. For anyone looking to give themselves an advantage in their medical career journey, as someone who has been through the process before, I am also happy to help out with training for interviews.
