Salve! My name is Jacob Starling and I'm a third-year student at USyd, majoring in Greek and Latin. In 2020 I came 3rd in NSW in Latin Advanced and got the highest band of achievement in the National Latin Examination (summa cum laude). I also achieved an ATAR of 98.6 and was on the All-Rounders' List. As a tutor I cater to all age groups and levels of experience and aim to foster a passion for learning Latin that ultimately leads to more success than mere rote-learning. My favourite poet is Virgil, I could talk about him for hours on end! I look forward to delving into lingua latina with you!
