Hi!
My name is Imandi and I graduated from The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School in 2020 and am in my third year of studying a Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine in 2023.
I am offering tutoring (over Zoom only) for VCE Biology Units 3/4 (raw 46, top 1.3%) and Selective Entry School preparation (Mac.Rob, Melbourne High School, Nossal, Suzanne Cory).
I am extremely passionate about helping students and I will ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources for them to succeed. I will tailor the lessons to suit the individual student and their needs. My lessons are also very adaptable and I am more than willing to structure them alongside the student’s school coursework material.
What I offer:
- For VCE Biology: Fully detailed notes for each topic, numerous practice exams + sacs, access to my poster sac and logbook for which I achieved FULL MARKS, topic tests/worksheets, my personal error lists
- For Selective Entry: Numerous practice exams, tips and tricks for tackling the exam, in-depth explanations of key concepts
- Round-the-clock help to ask any questions that arise outside of class time
- Provide insight into my own study habits/strategies in order to help my students excel in their studies whilst balancing involvement in extracurricular activities
- FREE introductory lessons - a chance to discuss specific goals, as well as establish a plan/structure for tutoring that best suits the student

I found Imandi to be an excellent tutor for VCE Biology. She is well knowledgeable and really knows how to explain complex content in a simple manner, which makes such a content heavy subject like biology much easier to learn. I personally used to struggle with this subject in previous years but Imandi’s way of explaining and her concise and straightforward notes made me really enjoy this subject. She is also extremely friendly and is always available to provide assistance.

Giving me a headstart during the summer holidays, Imandi has supported me throughout my 3/4 Biology journey with utmost sincerity. With access to her detailed notes, collection of practice questions, several topic tests, practice sacs and practice exams- I was able to expand my knowledge, develop a deeper and more through understanding of the topics before learning them at school which gave me a great advantage. Doing bio as an accelrated subject, I was constantly in need of guidance for the best studying methods and resources, and Imandi was always able to provide amazing advice and recommendations based on her personal experience. Not to mention her substantially flexible timetable and ease to talk to nature, Imandi played in a significant role in my 3/4 bio.

This year I sat the Year 10 Selective Entry exam with great help from Imandi. Even though classes were online, Imandi made sure my time spent with her was enjoyable on all levels. I gained a large amount of knowledge in all 4 parts of the exam – Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Mathematics. As we went through past papers together, we also studied in detail, textbook questions and chapter reviews to give me a larger insight into specific topics. All practice exams I had done were checked and reviewed together, so Imandi could give helpful feedback, which led to improvement in my studies. She also provided valuable exam tips and made sure all my questions were comfortably asked and answered.

Imandi had been teaching with me for a few months and was a terrific teacher! She made a significant contribution to my understanding of biology, and I'm thankful for her assistance. She is a really enthusiastic person who can be reached easily for any questions or issues in addition to tutoring! I would strongly suggest seeking tutor with her.

I had a couple of tutoring sessions with Imandi a few weeks before my Biology exam and I never felt so prepared to undertake an exam with her help. She always explained difficult concepts thoroughly and went through questions with me which was super helpful. She even provided notes and practice exams to aid my understanding and application skills. She also stayed back if I had any further questions and gave me extra exam tips and tricks. I couldn’t have asked for a better tutor!
