Hi there! My name is Jessica and I graduated North Sydney Girls High School in 2020 with an ATAR of 97.85. I am currently studying Civil Engineering with Architecture at UNSW. I am extremely passionate about languages and mathematics, and as your tutor I would love to help you maximise your results and encourage you to do your best :)

I am currently offering tutoring for:

French

Languages, especially French, require a lot of exposure to authentic resources and active (such as speaking and writing) as well as passive (e.g. reading and writing) engagement to obtain a solid understanding of the language. I have access to a variety of different resources, and can cater to your own interests to improve your level of French in an engaging way. I will make French a very fun experience and help you find use for it every day so that you can improve your skills whilst having fun!

I have had experience in leading my HSC French Continuers study group whilst also ranking 1st in the first semester.

Mathematics

I was always terrible at Mathematics in junior high school, and Year 12 Mathematics was a very big challenge for me especially due to only having access to a limited number of resources under the new syllabus. In the first semester, I ranked bottom 5 of my cohort of around 70 people in Extension 2 Mathematics, however I was able to achieve an overall internal ranking in the top half within the span of 6 months.

The truth is, Mathematics does not come naturally. It takes a lot of practice and understanding all of the content, as different topics will always overlap with each other. As your tutor, I will be very patient and encouraging in your learning, and will be with you every step of the way to help you do your best! :)

Rates & Locations

I am located in the Northern Beaches, however I am able to travel to the North Shore and Sydney CBD area. I am able to tutor at local libraries or cafes, and am also willing to travel to your house depending on the time and location

I charge:

$40/hr (K-10)
$45/hr (Yr 11&12)
Discounted rates for groups.
