Hey I'm Kate! I feel a little impersonal starting off with just my results, but I reckon it's important for you to know that if you're being tutored by me, you'll be in capable hands. I have 4 years of experience as a tutor (2 of which were spent with a professional company) and I now have limited availability for private English tutoring!

I graduated as Dux of St Patrick's College Campbelltown, ranked 1st internally for 6 out of my 7 subjects. My subject marks were:

I am now in my third year of a Bachelor of Arts/Advanced Studies. I am a Dalyell scholar and have sustained a HD average WAM.

As a tutor, I am super friendly, warm and personable (I have a whole collection of wholesome memes, just ask) I view tutoring not merely as just tool for bumping up marks and rote learning essay responses; I care about the whole student, including their wellbeing, mental health, stress management and their confidence in their own abilities. Students can come to me with whatever struggles they may be having - whether it's analysing a tricky text, exam memorisation, editing an extension 2 major work, or just fine-tuning an essay to a band 6 level - and I can work out the best plan of action specifically designed to your learning style.

I can offer one-on-one or group English tutoring, as well as additional essay/assessment feedback (for English or any humanities subject) for an extra fee. I'd prefer to tutor in person at the University of Sydney library or another local library, and I'm also based in Leichhardt and can travel nearby (travel fee may be applied based on distance, just ask me!) Online option also available.
