Understanding, High Achieving Chemistry Tutor Available!
My name is Jasmine and I graduated in 2019 and am currently studying a bachelor of science at The University of Melbourne. I completed Chemistry with a study score of 40 (90+ atar). This score was affected by the fact I was quite ill and had to drop out of school for a few years and jumped straight into year twelve without doing year eleven. I was also working 4-5 days a week in a medical clinic as I did year twelve. What I think better reflects my chemistry knowledge are my university scores! I have a WAM of 84 and a perfect 7.0 GPA, this means I have completed all my subjects (including chemistry subjects) with first class honours (highest grade).
What does this mean for you? I have extensive chemistry knowledge well beyond that of VCE chemistry, I come from an unconventional background and can empathise with those who are undergoing difficult circumstances but I can also help individuals excel and achieve well above the expected level. I am older and not someone who had the benefits of a perfect educational history but rather someone who worked incredibly hard to overcome difficult circumstances. This makes me genuine and pragmatic to your circumstances and my dedication and high achievement at university also mean I have considerably more knowledge in chemistry than someone who has just recently completed year twelve. I love teaching and sharing my knowledge, I find tutoring a pleasure! Chemistry is absolutely my favourite subject, let me help make it yours too!
